It’s not exactly played on the radio stations, but that is the point…it doesn’t speak to everyone and it does not attempt to. Neither does popular music for instance, which mainly merely talks about money and cars…but Nerdcore knows exactly who its audience is, and doesn’t claim to be different.

of sea foam against the great reef of my boredom.
The point is not that a single genre surpasses the other, at this juncture, the point is to acknowledge that another genre in fact exists. Hip-Hop isn’t just loud music, dropping the f-bomb every single five words, as well as making use of autotune. It’s about representing a way of life rather than giving a damn about what everybody else thinks about it.
