No matter what gift I get him, my husband ALWAYS returns it.  So imagine my surprise when last Christmas I finally found a gift he would keep!Now, I have your attention right?.  What was the magical gift? It was a men’s night shirt and mens sweater.

Now thinking of this gift idea was not an easy feat.I have tried almost everything idea trying to get him a gift, I even looked through tons of online clothing catalogs, have tried buying him electornics, sports gear, fishing gear..  He has rejected all of them, telling me that I either spent too much money, or that I what I had gotten him was something he could never find a use for.  I had almost given up on ever giving him another gift, but then saw this nightshirt on a recent shopping trip and figured it might actually be something he wanted.

I’ll admit when he opened it, he took one look, and said, “Honey, this shirt is way to long for me.He got really excited when I told him that he could run around with no pants with mens nightshirt. 
What I’ve gleaned from my years of flawed male gift-giving is the following:

•    Men love practical gifts and mens sweater

•    Men love comfort.

•    Men love things that they can use, not things they can just look at.

•    Men like to pick out their own dress shirts; it makes them feel like       adults.

•    Men like things they need; if they do not need it, it is a “frivolous waste of hard earned money”.

•      The fact that it is your hard earned money and that you are happy to frivolously waste it will not help your case.  Trust me, I’ve tried.

•    Men like tools.

• To them this does not count as frivolous.  Never point out that these tools inevitably cause your man to work on the house, which inevitably causes you to reach out to a local plumber or handy man to work on the damage your man has caused.

•    Men like things for their cars.

•  Coupons for a carwash are acceptable and are not lumped into the gift card category.

Incorporating their favorite sporting team are what men like.

•  I would say clothing with team emblems, as well as sporting event tickets, or the ESPN TV sports package are all fair game

•     Men dislike jewelry.

A gift card to a man symbolizes something. It symbolizes that it is a sneaky way for men to go shopping.

•(So I’ve been told.)

•    Men like all electronics with the exception of a GPS.  A GPS undermines their sense of direction (regardless of how many times your man has led you and your family astray on the road.)

If you want to give a good gift for the men in your life, mens nightshirts are a great option.  My husband liked his flannel nightshirt so much that he gave a similar one to our son!

Women are never happy with their shape.  Since the beginning of time, women have used a variety of methods and articles of clothing such as a mens sweater to either cover, restrain, or modify their body shape, including their breasts.  If you have ever walked into the lingerie section of a department store, you are well aware of how many different varieties, styles, designs, and types of bras there are to choose from.  When you are bra shopping it is hard not to be distracted by the many types of materials, colors, and brands of bras that clothing departments sell.It is not that easy since there are alot of other distractions from choosing a bra; the most vital aspect that comes when choosing a a bra is fit and coverage. The two main types of bras are the fully bra (full coverage bra) or the demi-cup bra (semi coverage bra).I have tried many bras and there are pros and cons for both, I believe out of all of the bras I am a fan of fully bras for three reasons.

1.) Practical is what discribes fully bras.
2.)    Fully bras are better for those of us who are larger breasted.
3.)    Fully bras provide more support, and usually are made of thicker material to cover you even when you wear a thin shirt.

I know we are all concerned with the ‘sexiness’ of our bras, but I can tell you that regardless of how sexy a bra is, if a bra does not fit comfortably, you will be left with painful chaffing, and other unsightly marks.Bras are made not to restrict you, but to hug your curves.Remember, bras are not supposed to be corsets, but are supposed to be a support system for you.You will know that a bra fits you well when it does not push you down, but it lifts you up.   Your bra straps should not dig into your shoulders, nor should the support bottom gouge your breasts.Taking the time to choose the right type of bra is important and something you owe to yourself whether it is for excercising or for casual wear.

Features I look for and reasons that full coverage bras are my favorite:
1.)    Stretch panels and wide sides for the human in all of us.
2.)    Adjustable straps with slip-on shoulder pads for when we need to look more professional.
3.)    Cushioned straps so that they hold us up while still providing the utmost comfort.

Recent news states how many women, health professionals, feminists and fashion writers are beginning to question the place of the bra in modern society.  In fact, if you flip through magazines not only are celebs not wearing full coverage bras, they are not wearing any bras!  While these celebs say not wearing a bra is more freeing, I think bras are necessary to provide support, protection, and properness.   Obviously bras serve a purpose or they would not be as popular as they are today.  Regardless of what these magazines say, if you look at the proportion of women who wear bras versus the proportion who do not; you will see it is an overwhelmingly bra wearing majority.
